Three arrested for drug charges

Police arrested Casey Lynn Tabor, Darren James Honeycutt and Codey James Camerer for felony drug charges at 9:52 p.m. Sunday after a bike patrol officer rode up on a vehicle at Edgewater Park that had fogged windows, reports state. After searching the vehicle, the officer found both cocaine and marijuana.

Man arrested for reckless driving

Cody Sheetz, of Albert Lea, was arrested around midnight Tuesday for reckless driving, endangerment, no proof of insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia on state Highway 13 by Shoff Park, according to Lt. Phil Bartusek. Sheetz was clocked at driving 93 mph in a 40 mph zone, Bartusek said. Sheetz was held for bail.

Bartusek said police thought Sheetz was racing another vehicle. The second vehicle was not found.

Two cited minor consumption

Jordan Mehus, 18, and Cody Miranda, 18, both of Albert Lea, were cited for minor consumption and minor possession of alcohol, according to Lt. Phil Bartusek.

Mehus and Miranda were in the vehicle with Cody Sheetz, who was arrested for reckless driving and endangerment, Bartusek said.
