After having its six-game winning streak snapped Thursday night, it appears the Lake Mills softball team has started a new streak.

The Bulldogs (12-4 overall, 4-2 NIC) lost their second consecutive game Friday night with a 2-0 defeat by Forest City.

The Indians (11-5 overall, 4-2 NIC) grabbed two quick runs in the first inning and held on the rest of the way for the win.

Lake Mills made one error in the game and it came during the first inning which led to Forest City scoring its two runs.

Bulldogs pitcher Josie Brackey came up as the tough-luck loser for the second consecutive time as she went seven innings, struck out 11 and walked only one while allowing just three hits.

Holly Gilbertson was just a bit better than Brackey as she only allowed two hits in the game.
