Pam Schmidt of Albert Lea has joined Edina Realty.

Schmidt is a native of Albert Lea and is married to Dennis Schmidt, a UPS feeder driver. They have three daughters, Rachel, 29, Andrea, 27, and Jessica, 23, and four grandchildren, Alyssa, 9, Trenton, 6, Ethan, 2, and Isaiah, 2.

Schmidt loves to interior decorate, entertain, and have her house opened for benefits and fundraising tours. She has worked to preserve the history of her own “Turn of the Century” Victorian home, and is pursuing the requirements to add it to the National Register of Historic Homes.Her new position with the city of Albert Lea Heritage Preservation Commission restoring and preserving downtown Albert Lea, is a rewarding dream that she has had for many years. She is also a member of Business and Professional Women, Habitat for Humanity, Lens & Shutter Photography Club and an Albert Lea-Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. She has earned her real estate sales license in Minnesota and is working on her Graduated Realtor Institute degree in real estate.

Schmidt has an office in Austin and in Albert Lea with Edina Realty. She is a full-time agent and also works a few days a month at Herberger’s in cosmetics. She said she was drawn to Edina Realty for its professionalism, technology and teamwork. She can be reached at (507) 318-0004.
