The Albert Lea U-13 Moose Club baseball team played in the Minnesota Baseball Tournament last Saturday.

The team played three games and went 1-2. Albert Lea lost to Owatonna in the first game 9-2 and dropped the second game 22-1 to West St. Paul before coming back for a 25-14 win over Minnetonka.

Albert Lea qualified for the state tournament after finishing third in a tournament and finishing second in an Austin tournament in June.

Albert Lea is coached by Jon Hansen, Gene Arnold, Gary Abben and Jeff McLaughlin.
