An Aug. 2 Tribune story about election season debates said Debate Minnesota will hold two debates between “incumbent Norm Coleman and DFL challenger Al Franken.” That is a bit premature. Mr. Franken faces a tough primary challenge from Priscilla Lord Faris. The winner of that Sept. 9 DFL primary will face Sen. Coleman. Mr. Franken is no shoe-in.
