Robert Miller

Mr. Robert Elliot Miller, 74, died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C.
A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Grace Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Joanne Sizoo officiating.
Born in Albert Lea, Mr. Miller was a son of the late Phillip Roderick Miller and Pauline Mable Enderson Miller. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, where he served in the Sea Bees during the Korean War. Mr. Miller was a salesman for Minnesota Automotive Inc. in Mankato and also a home builder for Prime Design Inc. in Tega Cay. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and sang in various church choirs for more than 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, sailing and hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Maurene J. Miller; two sons, Robert K. Miller of Lake Wylie, S.C., and Terry R. Miller of Churu Busco, Ind.; two daughters, Laurie Chandley of Weaverville, N.C. and Lynette Mitchell of Fort Mill; his brother, Jerald Miller of Omaha, Neb.; and four grandchildren, Cory Miller, Haley Miller, Nathaniel Mitchell and Ian Mitchell.
