The first Freeborn County Stampede had perfect rodeo weather — in other words, a bit on the hot side — and the crowd filled the stands Saturday to see the spectacle. Miss Rodeo Minnesota thrilled the crowd and so did the clowns and the cowboys. Albert Lea welcomed to Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association to town, with intentions to grow the event as the years pass.
