Beverly A. Olson , 76, of Owatonna, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at her home.
She was born May 13, 1932 in, Rice County the daughter of Earl and Florence (Schroht) Neuman. Beverly attended school in Medford and then married George Olson April 30, 1953. She worked for the Steele-Waseca Coop, and later with her husband at Olson Floor Covering. Bev then worked for Jostens retiring after 27 years. She was a member of the United Methodist church. She enjoyed chocolate, flowers, shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and spending time with her mother and sister.
Beverly is survived by her husband, George; mother, Florence Neuman, of Owatonna; children: Lori (Peter) Meyer, Sue (Doug) Underland, Steve (Arlys) Olson, Kevin Olson all of Owatonna; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister Delores (Lyle) Bohlman of Owatonna.
Her father and one son Gary preceded her in death.
Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and at United Methodist Church on Tuesday one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church with the Rev. Loren Olson officiating. Interment will be in Owatonna Memorial Garden Cemetery.
