Grain truck driver injured

Douglas Blouin, 48, of Ellendale, was injured when the grain truck he was driving ran off the roadway of State Highway 30 five miles west of New Richland at 8:15 a.m. Thursday.

A report from the Mankato district of the Minnesota State Patrol said the truck, listed as hauling corn, left the roadway and rolled.

Assisting at the accident scene were the New Richland Ambulance, New Richland Police Department, Waseca County Sheriff’s Office and the New Richland Fire Department.

Man arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Jesse Wayne Krick for fourth-degree DWI, open bottle and no proof of insurance after a traffic stop at 12:57 a.m. Thursday, near the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and 690th Avenue, according to Sheriff’s Office reports.
