The Bulldogs were strong from the service line just like they were against Central Springs in the quarterfinal round — in fact they were better. Lake Mills tallied 14 aces as the team used serving as a point of attack against North Fayette.

Bulldogs head coach Jim Boehmer said going into the match he knew the service line would be a place where his team could pick up some points.

Lake Mills will face Aplington-Parkersburg at Mason City Newman Tuesday night.

Aplington-Parkersburg defeated Starmont 16-25, 25-17, 27-25, 25-18.
