We would tell you to get out and vote, but from the looks of the polling places this morning, you are. Precincts all over Albert Lea were packed this morning. We can only assume rural precincts were busy, too.
Nevertheless, if you are reading this and are 18 or older and have not voted, it is your patriotic duty to get to the polls and vote today. Every vote counts, and recent presidential elections have made many Americans realize it.
You can get results for local races tonight at AlbertLeaTribune.com. We will be working late tonight and into tomorrow morning so you can get the news.
You can click on the Election 2008 link and see all of the Tribune’s election coverage. If you have a laptop computer, you can watch local results at our Web site while you watch the national results on TV.
