Mark Turbett

Memorial services for Mark S. Turbett of Clarks Grove will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Bonnerup Funeral Service Chapel in Albert Lea. The Rev. Richard Spande will officiate. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Mark died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at his home in Clarks Grove. He was 55 years old.
Mark was born April 16, 1953, in Albert Lea, the son of Dale and Helen (Thompson) Turbett. He was a graduate of Albert Lea High School in 1971. On July 3, 1971, he was united in marriage to Judy Ritter in Albert Lea.
Mark was employed for more than 31 years by Wilson & Co. (Farmstead) and then for six years at Winnebago Industries in Forest City, Iowa.
Mark had been a member of the Odd Fellows, bowling league, enjoyed playing cards, gardening, football and puttering around the house. His pet dogs Cookie and Hunter and his cat Frisky were a joy to him.
Mark is survived by his wife, Judy, of Clarks Grove; children, Melissa Stundahl of Clarks Grove and Gary and his wife Janelle Turbett of Albert Lea; grandchildren: Christopher, Nicholas and Jessica Stundahl, Brandon and Andrew Steele and Emma Turbett; two brothers, Donald (Karen) Turbett of East Bethel and Ronald (Barb) Turbett of Glendale, Ariz.; and nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
