Southwest Middle School has been promoting respect for several years through the respect program. The program centers on respecting others, yourself, equipment and environment.

Each day students can receive respect tickets from any staff member at Southwest when they are “caught” showing respect. On Friday, these tickets are placed in a drawing. Five tickets are drawn and the names are announced. Students win a prize.

The respect committee is in need of prizes from local businesses.
