Funeral services for Diane Marie Henderson, 41, of Albert Lea will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church. The Rev. Todd Walsh and Rev. Lyndy West will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Diane died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at her home.
Diane Marie Henderson was born on Nov. 11, 1967, to Lowell and Clarice “Corky” (Jacobson) Olson in Albert Lea. She was a lifelong resident of Albert Lea. Diane graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1986. Diane was united in marriage to Greg Henderson on April 21, 1990, at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Eagles and the Moose Club. Diane enjoyed spending time with her husband and kids especially the times they had camping together. She also enjoyed attending concerts with her husband, especially Rock Fest. Diane loved working in the office at Power 96.
Survivors include her husband, Greg, and children Jessica and Joseph, all of Albert Lea; brothers: Greg Olson of Des Moines, Iowa, Randy Olson of Albert Lea, Jerry and wife Peggy Olson of Albert Lea, and Paul Olson and special friend Kristy Dennison of Albert Lea; sister, Pam and husband Mark Godtland of Albert Lea; father, Lowell Olson and special friend Judy Verdoorn; and many nieces and nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Clarice “Corky” Olson; grandparents, Clarence and Clara Jacobson; step grandmother, Agnes Jacobson, and Norvald and Alvina Olson.
