Albert Lea police received a report on Sunday afternoon of four missing goats from their owner who lives on 757th Avenue. The police report stated the goats had been missing since Saturday.

Citizens concerned about dogs in cold weather

There have been several reports made to the Albert Lea Police Department by concerned citizens regarding dogs being left outside during cold weather conditions without shelter, water or food.

In one situation the owner let the dog out, closed the door, then went to sleep. The dog started barking and after a period of time a neighbor called police. An officer responded, woke up the dog’s owner, and the animal went back inside the home.
