Great defense helped give the Northwood-Kensett boys’ basketball team a 57-37 victory over Nashua-Plainfield Tuesday in Nashua.
Trevor and Jesse Davidson each scored 14 points and Sam Arnold added 11 as the Vikings (7-6, 4-5) leapfrogged the Huskies (3-9, 3-7) in the Corn Bowl Conference standings.
“I thought we played great defensively,” Northwood-Kensett head coach Marty Cotter said.
The Vikings had just nine turnovers in the game and held Nashua-Plainfield to single digit scoring three of the four quarters.
The Vikings face Glenville-Emmons Thursday in Northwood.
