Way to go, Albert Lea and Freeborn County! Thank you to everyone who donated money and or time to this year’s United Way campaign, Live United. A special hats off to Sue Berg, Tiffany Hagen, Ann Austin and Corrine Applegate. We exceeded our goal of $592,000. This is so exicitng for all 19 agencies involved with the United Way. This truly proves what a caring communtiy we live in. Even in these tough economical times, we were able to pull together to help one another — another reason I am proud to call Albert Lea my home.
