Lois Heine

Funeral services for Lois E. Heine, 74, of Conger, will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Conger. The Rev. Gary Hanson will officiate. Burial will be at Pickerel Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services at the church.
Lois died on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, surrounded by her family at her home.
Lois E. Heine was born on Aug. 7, 1934, in Austin, the daughter of Vernon and Mabel (Madson) Doyle. She grew up and attended school in Twin Lakes. After her schooling, Lois worked at Land O’Lakes for several years. On Oct. 21, 1954, she was united in marriage to Gerald W. Heine at the Concordia Lutheran parsonage. The couple farmed in the Conger area for many years and moved into town in 1981. Lois enjoyed being a homemaker, wife and mother. She collected many dolls, playing cards with family and friends and different crafts. Listening to music was also very enjoyable to Lois.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald, Conger; sons: Fred and wife Deb Heine, Valrico, Fla., and Dennis and wife Kathy Heine, Minnesota Lake; daughter, Julie Cornick and fiancé John Parizek, Prior Lake; seven grandchildren: Matt Heine, Lyndsey and husband Tommy Dittebrand, Brian Cornick, Daniel Cornick, Greg Heine, Steve Heine and Derek Heine; sister, Delores Robinson, Albert Lea; brothers: Gary and wife Arlene Doyle, Willmar, Kenneth Doyle, Albert Lea, Burton and wife Doreen Doyle, Conger, and Roger Doyle, Albert Lea.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Jayme in infancy, and one son, in infancy.
Memorials are preferred to Crossroads Community Hospice.
