Meet this year’s senior skaters

This year’s Albert Lea Figure Skating Club show will on March 7 and 8 spotlight its three seniors.

Anna Enstad, Sara Judd and Mary Wangen will skate together in the senior spotlight, “One More Time.”

They will also have solo numbers.

Enstad, the daughter of Dan and Jean Enstad, will skate to “So She Dances.” She has been skating for nine years.

At Albert Lea High School, Enstad has been active in dance team, cross country, band, National Honor Society and volleyball. She dances with the Joyce Matthies Dance Centre.

She enjoys shopping, hanging out with her friends, reading, running and being outdoors in the summertime.

Enstad’s future plans include attending the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and majoring in physical therapy.

Judd, the daughter of John and Stacy Judd, will skate to “Dream On.” She has been skating for 12 years.

At Albert Lea High School, she has been active on the dance team as captain and choreographer, on the National Honor Society, Link Crew, Student Lion and Youth in Government.

She enjoys dancing and being with friends.

Judd plans to attend the University of Minnesota and major in nursing or pre-med.

Wangen, the daughter of Matt and Sharon Wangen, will skate to “These are the Special Times.” She has been skating for six years.

At Albert Lea High School, Wangen has been active in swimming, track, band and National Honor Society.

She enjoys Spanish and rock climbing.

Wangen plans to attend the University of Minnesota and study pre-med and Spanish.
