Local musicians are coming together in a tribute to The Beatles this weekend at the Lighthouse Event Center.

Forty years ago, The Beatles played a live concert together for the last time on the rooftop of Apple Records. The songs they played that day will be performed again by local artists Jeff Hanson, Jamie Kyllo, Brandon Krause, Darrell Amundson, Brock Besse and Merle Krause. Other favorite Beatles songs will be performed by artists Dave Vaagen, Brad Willis, Tim Karn, Sam Hastings and Jack Morgan. Bob Hill will share insight on growing up in England during The Beatles invasion of the U.S., along with other surprises.

The Lighthouse Event Center is at 638 Marshall St., Albert Lea. The shows are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday.
