Comedy Live is bringing another comedy show to Albert Lea.
The show, which will be Saturday at the Albert Lea Moose Lodge, will include a special surprise. Not only will there be a comedy lineup headlined by Bob Larson, but a Minneapolis-based band, Carp 18, will also play.
The band features Albert Lea native Dave Helgerson, local resident Paul Schmitt and Minneapolis resident Joe Fahey.
Larson is also based in Minneapolis and has had his round about with the comedy scene. He is a hit anywhere and everywhere he performs.
Albert Lea’s own Jeff Polis will be returning to the stage. Rounding off the comedy show will be Del Point from Waterville.
Carp 18 will follow the comedy show. Tom Hallett of “Pulse of the Twin Cities,” wrote of the band: “Hands down, a true-blue, dyed-in-the-wool release from an outfit you should make every effort to check out. Highly recommended listening.”
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Dinner is also available with the comedy show beginning at 7 p.m. Carp 18 will start playing about 9 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the Moose Club, 1623 W. Main St., or call 373-2106 for more information.
