Don’t be sloppy with the obituaries

As I was reading through the obituaries the other evening, something hit me like a lighting bolt. It had on the top of the page the name of Kim Johnshrud with a picture. A little further down the page, it had the same picture with an article, but the name was Kim Johnson. They got her last name wrong. It didn’t bother me at all, but just think of that person’s relatives? They wouldn’t like it at all. Or if Mr. and Mrs. Johnshrud saw that their relative died, they wouldn’t be very happy. They might even sue you.

For a better knowledge of your facts, you should just read your notes better or listen clearer. Just think if your grandmother died, you would want her honored and not messed up by some sloppy reporter. Furthermore you can take her name and write in big letters on the top of your newspaper. That way you will never forget it as long as you keep that sheet. Hope you like ideas.
