The funeral service for Barbara Jean Tabban of Albert Lea will be 3 p.m. Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea. Deacon Mike Ellis will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea, and one hour before the service.
Barbara died suddenly Sunday, May 24, 2009, at her home. She was 51 years old.
Barbara was born March 29, 1958 at Rockford, Ill., to David and Shirley (Hayter) Rieffer. She grew up in Rockford, moved to Chicago, moved to Elmore, Wells and then Albert Lea. Barbara was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed collecting angles. Barbara’s family was very important to her, especially her grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her two children: John Williford of St. Paul and Brandy Morales and her husband David of Albert Lea; three grandchildren: Alana, Autumn and David; two brothers: Richard Rieffer and his wife Hope of LandO’Lakes, Fla., and Stephen Rieffer and his wife Pat of Rockford, Ill.; three sisters: Vickie Reynolds and her husband Randy of Rockford, Linda Adams and her husband Ron of Rockford and Bonnie Roland of Loves Park, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, David and Shirley Rieffer.
