Dean Miller, 71

The memorial service for Dean A. Miller of Albert Lea will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Albert Lea. Interment will be at a later date at the Greenwood Cemetery, Plainview. Bonnerup Funeral Service is assisting the family.
Dean died Friday, May 8, 2009, at St. John’s Lutheran Home, Albert Lea. He was 71 years old.
Dean was born May 5, 1938, in Austin, to Hedy Miller. He married Donna Keckhafer on June 11, 1962, at Rochester. They lived in Rochester, then moved to Colorado and came back to Minnesota in 1989 and moved to Albert Lea in 1990. Dean was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, Albert Lea. He drove truck and was a metal recycling dealer. Dean enjoyed reading in his spare time.
Dean is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna of Albert Lea; in-laws: Gen Strieff of Detroit Lakes, Mary Keckhafer of Fargo, N.D., Darlene Van Schaick of Plainview, Joan Russell of Harmony, Janice Hutchin of New Market, Md., Pat Barker of Sartell, Kenneth Keckhafer of Twin Lakes; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Dean was preceded in death by his mother; father-in-law, Edwin Keckhafer; mother-in-law, Olga Keckhafer; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
