Jane Nasby, 70, of Mesa, Ariz., passed away May 4, 2009, at Hospice of the Valley from a stroke she had on April 3, 2009. 
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hill Crest Cemetery in Oakland off Freeborn County Road 46. Fellowship will follow at Oakland Lutheran Church.
Jane was born Jan. 4, 1939, to the late Myron and Lavetta Converse of Albert Lea. On Nov. 17, 1956, she was united in marriage with Mervin Nasby of Albert Lea where they lived until 1999 when they moved to Mesa. Jane enjoyed her family, her time in Arizona, traveling, going to bingo, her computer and collecting angels. 
She is survived by her husband Mervin of 52 years; children: Cindy (David) Chance of Mesa and Dan (Gail) of Albert Lea; grandsons: Wade Chance (Deborah Janicke) of Albert Lea, Wesley (Diana) Chance of Cottage Grove, Nick Nasby (Jessica Flatness) and Kyle Nasby (Chelsey Schumaker) of Albert Lea; great-grandson: Bauer Chance. Also survived by one sister and one brother. 
She is preceded in death by her father and mother; sister, Rosemary Beckjorden; brother-in-law, Nick Beckjorden; great-granddaughters: Aubrey and Braelyn Chance.
