Lucille Hansen, 87, Albert Lea

Funeral services for Lucille A. Hansen of Albert Lea will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. The Rev. Wayne Halvorson will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bonnerup Funeral Service, 525 W. Clark St., and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Hansen died Thursday evening at the Thorne Crest Retirement Center in Albert Lea. She was 87 years old.
Lucille was born March 18, 1922, in LeSueur, the daughter of Art and Ester Zellmer. She attended parochial school at St. Peter Bell Lutheran Church School in LeSueur County. She was baptized and confirmed at the St. Peter Bell Lutheran Church and was currently a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and was active in the ladies’ aid and Rebecca Sewing Circle.
Lucille had been employed by the Wilson Company for 15 years.
In her free time, Lucille enjoyed going up north fishing.
She is survived by her sons: Steven of Albert Lea and David of Sydney, Neb.; grandchildren: Jennifer, Charles and Matt Hansen and Billie Jo Wilkenson; great-grandchildren: Hailey, Drew and Gavin Wilkenson; one sister, Gladys Richter; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; brother, Glenn Zellmer; and brother-in-law; Walter Richter.
