Thanks for tour for Winnehaha folks

I would like to thank Susie Petersen of the Albert Lea Convention and Visitors Bureau for arranging tours for the Winnehahas, a Winnebago-Itasca travelers group. This is the third year the group has camped at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds the second weekend in May.

This year we toured Daisy Blue Naturals, the Poet ethanol plant, and the Freeborn County Historical Society. In past years we have toured Lou Rich, Larson Warehouse, Minne-Soy-Ta-Nice, and the Greibok Farm. All of the tours have been well-organized, very informative, and a credit to the Albert Lea area.

Because of the excellent facilities, the members have decided to return to Albert Lea in 2010.
