It’s “Back to the ’50s” this weekend on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
The Minnesota Street Rod Association will host more than 11,000 classic cars Friday through Sunday on the fairgrounds in Falcon Heights.
All of the cars on display are from 1964 or earlier.
The Trashmen will perform Saturday evening.
The garage-rock band is famous for the 1963 hit “Surfin’ Bird.”
The 36th annual “Back to the ’50s” event will kick off Thursday with hula hoops, music and more than two dozen street rods on display in downtown St. Paul.
