Edith Edwin-Taylor
Funeral sevices for Edith Edwin-Taylor, age 70, of Dewey, Okla., will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Fertile Church of Christ in Fertile, Iowa. The Rev. Dennis Ganz will officiate, and burial will be at the Oakland Cemetery in Forest City, Iowa. Edith died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 16, 2009. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Edith was born April 28,1939, in Leland, Iowa. She was the daughter of George and Dorothy(Meyer) Edwin. She was raised on the farm in Winnebago County, Iowa.
Survivors include: Sons, Douglas Reinken of Garland, Texas, and Alan Reinken and his wife Gina of Copan, Okla.; daughters, Dorothy Kennelly of Dewey, Okla., Teresa and husband Dan Olson of Kanawha, Iowa, Lisa Rendon of Dewey, Okla.; three sisters, Darlene and her husband Roger Rayman of Albert Lea, Lois and her husband Gene Low of Fertile, Iowa, Marilyn and her husband Kenny Kobriger of Bartlesville, Okla. Also including eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband Robert Taylor.
Edith will be greatly missed by family and friends.
