Timely hitting was an issue once again for the Albert Lea Colonels Wednesday against the Owatonna Aces at Owatonna.

Both teams tallied six hits, but the Aces were able to utilize their hits the most in a 5-2 victory.

The Colonels stranded nine runners Wednesday.

“We just didn’t get the timely hits,” said head coach Bill Trygstad.

Michael Greibrok took the loss despite giving up two hits. He walked four and gave up three runs, two earned, in five innings of work.
