The Albert Lea Blue 14 and under team recently won the S.C.Y.B. league tournament title, capping off the season with a 21-6-1 overall mark.

Albert Lea Blue’s tournament journey started with a victory over Albert Lea Red, the other Albert Lea 14 and under team playing in the league this season. Faribault Black provided Albert Lea Blue with its next challenge and Albert Lea responded with a 10-0, five-inning win.

In the tournament championship game Albert Lea defeated a fine Q.C.Y.B. (NRHEG) club 5-4, in a well-played title game.
