The FLCW of First Lutheran Church of Glenville met at the church Monday, Aug. 3.

A thank-you was extended to members who volunteered to assist residents of the Northwood Retirement Home in playing bingo in July. Those helping were members of the Mary-Martha and Miriam circles.

The group will be assisting with bingo at Good Samaritan Home in November.

It was decided by unanimous vote that Mary J. Nelson be the general chairwoman of the Fall Festival.

The Fall Festival will be held at First Lutheran Church, Glenville, on Sept. 12, beginning at 8 a.m.

There will be baked goods, garden produce and crafts. Morning coffee will be served from 8 to 11, as well as a meatball dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
