The Green Lea Junior MGA team placed seventh overall at the 49th Minnesota Golf Association state team championship Thursday at Monticello Country Club.

The team of Tyler Brackey, Casey Marka, Sam Matheson and Bob Peterson finished with a two-day total of 468. The team shot 239 on the second day of the tournament.

Minnetonka won the team title with a two-day total of 446. Lester Park finished two shots back and Meadows was third with a 449.

Brackey and Matheson led Green Lea with 77s while Marka added an 85 and Peterson an 87. The top three scores count toward the team total.
