Jeanne R. Nelson of St. Louis Park was awarded her master’s of business administration degree from Augsburg College in a commencement ceremony held June 26.

While completing her MBA, Nelson also led a team of fellow students on a management consulting project, evaluating the marketing efforts of a local nonprofit organization and creating a plan for improvement.

Nelson previously earned a bachelor of music degree in flute performance from the University of Minnesota and owns and operates her own business, The Palladion Company, a commercial contracting organization located in the Twin Cities.

Nelson is a 1983 graduate of Albert Lea High School and the daughter of Ed and Angie Nelson of rural Albert Lea.
