Medical group to hold reunion

Past and current employees of the Albert Lea Medical Group will be attending a social gathering, Friday starting at 5:30 p.m. in the banquet room at Wedgewood Cove.

Over the years, private doctor’s practices with only a small staff found it necessary to form clinics in order to survive. After a short period of adjustment, new friendships were formed with more employees. In later years, clinics merged, and then joined the hospital, but the strong bonds of friendship remain and grew. With a philosophy that medical care was like a wheel, with the physicians at the hub but needing all the other departments and employees as the spokes and rim to run, cooperation, a common coffee room, made a fertile ground for many enduring relationships of admiration and friendship to form.

This social gathering is an opportunity to reconnect with those friends and fellow workers. No formal invitations were sent. All past and present employees are invited.
