The Senior LinkAge Line and Senior Resources will host a free educational session about financing long-term care and Minnesota’s partnership program on Tuesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Senior Resources of Freeborn County, located at the south side entrance of Skyline Plaza.
Sessions intended to educate people about long-term care will be held throughout Minnesota during August and September. Those attending the sessions will learn about long-term care costs, how to plan for long-term care, what Medicare will cover and the role of the Minnesota Long-term Care Partnership in helping plan for the future.
The Senior LinkAge Line, a comprehensive information and assistance service of the Minnesota Board on Aging and Area Agencies on Aging, sponsors the sessions. Sessions will be provided locally by the Area Agencies on Aging Senior LinkAge Line staff, which have begun a statewide education and outreach campaign to help Minnesotans understand long-term care insurance and the Long-term Care Partnership. These are neutral, unbiased educational sessions. No product will be sold.
Solicitation or distribution of long-term care insurance product materials is not permitted at these sessions.
