Skorin serves as delegate at national meeting

Leonid Skorin Jr., Albert Lea Medical Center ophthalmologist, recently served as a delegate representing the Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society (MOMS) at the American Osteopathic Association’s House of Delegates meeting in Chicago.
Numerous health care initiatives and resolutions were presented, evaluated and incorporated into the national association’s agenda. A considerable amount of time was also given to discussion of the current health care reform debate and on how to improve the efficiency of the health care system.
Skorin also served as a delegate in 2008 and is currently a trustee of the Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society.
Skorin joined Albert Lea Medical Center in 2000 as a comprehensive ophthalmologist with an emphasis on cataract and glaucoma surgery.
