David Sherrill

David Charles Sherrill of Albert Lea, died Friday morning, Sept. 4, 2009, at his home in Albert Lea. He was born on Oct. 15, 1959, in Boise, Idaho, the son of Lester L. and Erbie F. (Varnell) Sherrill. He completed school in Boise where he lived most of his life. He was united in marriage to Allwyn Bromage on June 6, 2002, in Boise, Idaho.
David had been employed for over 18 years with the Boise School District. Together they had lived in Albert Lea since August of 2008.
David was very proud of his American Indian Heritage. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved camping. In his free time he was a ham radio operator.
David had a close association with the Health Reach nurses and cared for and respected their help.
He is survived by his wife, Allwyn, of Albert Lea; two children, son Michael Dean and daughter Elizabeth Dean, both of Albert Lea; one sister Geri Gregory of Seattle, Wash.; brother, Timothy Sherrill of Boise, Idaho; and nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, sister Elizabeth Sherrill, and aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at a later date.
