The Hayward 4-H Club met Sept. 13 at the Kermes farm.

President Caylee Tennis called the meeting to order. Members talked about the shooting sports event, club banquet dates, nominations for next meeting, and other activities.

Everyone brought snacks and food for the club.

Kirsten Hahn, Addie Wagner, Derik Wagner, Luke Wagner, Julia Otten, and Sage Kermes talked about their experiences at the Minnesota State Fair.

The club discussed replacing a tree at the fair that was damaged by heavy winds.

Hayward placed second with 93 points in county herdsmanship.

The next meeting will be held on Oct. 11 at 4:30 p.m.
