Northwood-Kensett racked up nearly 400 yards of offense Friday in a 40-7 blowout of Riceville in Riceville.

The Vikings (2-1, 1-0) earned their first district win of the season and also won for the first time in Riceville.

Sam Arnold led Northwood-Kensett in rushing with 113 yards on seven carries. Jayson Olson scored two touchdowns and rushed for 91 yards.

The Vikings led 27-0 at halftime and added 13 points in the third quarter when Jacob Gordon caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Spencer Capitani and Bryan Sime scored from 7 yards out.

Northwood-Kensett hosts North Butler next Friday.
