The Albert Lea volleyball team dropped its third straight match Tuesday against Winona in Albert Lea.
The Winhawks defeated the Tigers 25-22, 25-22, 25-16.
Kristine Kelly led the team with 15 digs and eight kills while Bethany Sekora had six kills, three blocks and three ace serves.
The Tigers (0-3, 0-2 Big Nine) missed 12 serves in the match which head coach Jaime Mauseth said hurt the team.
“The first two games they looked pretty good,” Mauseth said. “They were running some plays and placing their shots. Toward the end of the night it went down hill from there.”
Albert Lea hasn’t had much time for practice to address the issues that have come up, but will now have a break until Tuesday when the Tigers travel to Waseca to play the Bluejays.
