Beverly J. Farus, 83, Fargo, N.D., died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, in Fargo.
Beverly Jeanne Wiese was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Bricelyn, the daughter of William and Minnie (Halverson) Wiese. She grew up there and graduated from high school in 1944.
Beverly married Donald Farus on Aug. 3, 1947. They moved to Mason City, Iowa, where Donald was employed by the American Crystal Sugar Company. Beverly worked for the Nabisco Company and later, for American Crystal Sugar Company. They moved to Grand Forks, N.D., in 1973 and she worked for American Crystal Sugar Company. They retired in 1987 at Fargo. Donald died in 1988.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father and step-father.
A funeral will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. with visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Bricelyn Lutheran Cemetery, Bricelyn.
