Burglary reported on Madison

Albert Lea police received a call at 6:23 p.m. Monday of a woman who reportedly came home to her house on the 700 block of Madison Avenue being burglarized. When she went into the house she saw two Hispanic males running down the side of the house, reports stated. One of the males was in a black hoodie and the other was in a grey shirt. Nothing was found to have been taken.
Police urge people to call authorities if they see anyone suspicious hanging near a neighbor’s house.
Man arrested
Police arrested Cory P. Raleigh, 33, no address listed, for third-degree DWI and no insurance after a traffic stop at 12:33 a.m. today, according to reports.
Vehicle reported damaged
A vehicle was reportedly damaged while parked at a residence on the 500 block of Commercial Street, according to police reports. The incident was reported at 12:11 p.m. Monday.
Squad car backed into
An Albert Lea Police squad car was reported backed into at the city garage, reports stated. On reports the incident was classified as a hit-and-run crash and was reported at 2:44 p.m. Monday.
CD player reported stolen
A CD player with a value of $125 was reported stolen from a 1987 Pontiac Fiero on the 800 block of Newton Avenue at 4:13 p.m. Monday, according to reports.
Gas leak reported
A gas leak was reported on the 800 block of South First Avenue at 11:39 p.m. Monday, according to reports.
