City, county issue permit reports

During September the Freeborn County Planning and Zoning Office issued 38 building permits with a listed valuation of $701,635. The estimated valuation for building permits issued by the county now increases to $4,068,391.
Also, during September, the county issued building permits for four new homes and three home additions.
The City of Albert Lea Inspection Department issued 46 building permits with a valuation of $592,079. This increases the total valuation for city permits issued during the first nine months of the year to $10,734,562.
At the end of September 2008 the city report showed a valuation of $10,095,417.
One of the September permits had a valuation of $190,000 and was for a new home on Tiger Ridge Lane. Thus, permits have been issued for seven residential units so far this year.
A September permit with a valuation of $158, 000 was issued to Senior Tower, 905 Maplehill Drove, for “replacing all windows.”
