Ben Koppelman, a 1991 graduate of Albert Lea High School, was named by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of the 2009 “Up and Comers” in U.S. health care.

The award goes to health care administrators under the age of 40.

Koppelman is the president and chief executive officer of St. Joseph’s Area Health Services in Park Rapids.

He is married to Lisa Frame and they have two daughters, Sydney and Morgan.
