National experts shared tips Tuesday night with Albert Lea residents for keeping on track with the success of the Vitality Project.
National purpose expert Richard Leider, founder of the Inventure Group, said it’s important to stay on purpose.
“Having a reason to get up in the morning is fundamental to life,” Leider said.
He also noted that isolationists fail, so people should not go at this journey alone.
University of Minnesota professor Leslie Lytle, a nutrition expert, encouraged residents to remain vigilant in their efforts.
She said she knows that change is difficult, not only for individuals but communities as well.
The Vitality Project has shown her that change is possible, she noted.
Expert on food-consumption behavior Brian Wansink of Cornell University gave three pieces of advice for continuing with the ripple effect started by the project.
He encouraged people to figure out their best change, find out if its working and then keep themselves accountable for it.
