Two people were transported by ambulance to the Albert Lea Medical Center Friday evening after a two-vehicle crash on Bridge Avenue in front of Northbridge Mall.

The crash occurred at about 5 p.m. near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Hershey Street.

The Albert Lea Fire Department, Albert Lea Police Department, Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene.

No other information about the crash was available as of press time.

This is the third crash on Bridge Avenue in two days.
