A photo shooting spree

I have lived in Minnesota for almost 44 years. Up until last year, Albert Lea was just another town on the map of Minnesota for me.
But since my daughter moved down there, I have discovered a unique treasure in Albert Lea! It’s not just the history of Albert Lea that amazes me; it’s not just the numerous old buildings still decorating the town. What it is, is the tranquil beauty of the people, the parks and their serene way of life!
Had I known what a special place Albert Lea was, I would have explored this beautiful town long before now! I hope the people of Albert Lea realize just how lucky they are to live in such a wonderful place! The town is beautiful, the people so kind and friendly — it makes me not want to leave!
While visiting my daughter this past weekend, I captured many quiet and special moments of people out and about enjoying the gorgeous weather and the beautiful sites and sounds of Albert Lea.
The couple lying on the grass on Fountain Lake, Chris Danielson and Beth Bitker, came to Albert Lea from Mason City, Iowa, just for the day to relax and to “get away from it all.” What better place to do that than Albert Lea!
Albert Lea Lake was popular Saturday for anyone wanting to do a little fishing while Fountain Lake attracted walkers, joggers and anyone wanting to just kick back and enjoy the beautiful fall day.
If I am ever blessed to finally gain publishing success in my writing and photography, I know exactly where I want to make my home — the beautiful and proud town of Albert Lea!
I hope you will at least find a little inspiration in the serenity and beauty of these photographs.
