Bridget Burlingame, 23

Bridget Louise Burlingame died unexpectedly on Oct. 26, 2009, in South Carolina. She was 23 years old.
Bridget Louise Burlingame was born April 8, 1986, the daughter of Bert and Mary Burlingame in Cottonwood, Utah. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Hopkins.
Bridget graduated from Burnsville High School and also attended Scot Lewis Schools for Nails Program. She was just accepted in the police academy training program in South Carolina and ready to pursue her dreams of becoming a police officer.
Bridget enjoyed gardening, outdoors, animals, knitting and crocheting, most of all Bridget loved serving others, laughing and making a difference in so any lives.
Bridget is survived by her parents: Bert and Mary Burlingame, of Cottonwood, Utah; her brother, Benjamin Burlingame, United States Marine Corps; and sister, Hannah Burlingame, at home; grandparents: Vic and Mary Nelson of Albert Lea, Art Hedum of Washington and Rose Burlingame; and many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is set for Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Friends may greet the family at First Lutheran Church one hour before the service. On line condolences can be expressed at www.brick-megerfuneralhome.com.
