Ginny Quam Ackland will be the speaker at the Dec. 3 meeting of Albert Lea Aglow at the Senior Center in Skyline Plaza. Fellowship and refreshments begin at 6:45 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m.

Quam Ackland has lived in Freeborn County all her life. She has five sons and has 17 grandchildren. She has experienced the loss of two husbands, Jerry Quam and Chet Ackland, her father and a grandson. She understands the deep pain of grief but has experienced the love of God in powerful ways.

Life is about the choices we make, for life or for death. We have the choice to build our house on the rock or on the sand as Matthew 24 tells us. Quam Ackland will share how God has picked her up and put her feet upon the rock, Jesus. All are welcome!
